  • Asynchronous confirmation delivery: Queued post-reservation email jobs in SQS, generated PDF documents with Lambda, and sent them through SES so checkout completion was not delayed by document generation or email delivery
  • Server and database optimization: Tuned DB connection pools and indexes, and used RDS automated backups and PM2 clustering for operational stability
  • AWS traffic and operations architecture: Built CloudFront, ALB, EC2 Auto Scaling, RDS PostgreSQL, S3 asset storage, and CloudWatch monitoring
  • 3-Tier Inventory Management: 1-hour hold + reservation + block system for room availability
  • CI/CD pipeline: Built Docker images with GitHub Actions, published them to ECR, then automated deployment through EC2 Launch Template updates and Auto Scaling instance refreshes
